Career and Technical Education in Kentucky is responsible for meeting the performance measures outlined in the federal Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act in order to receive federal funding.
Performance MeasuresKentucky has identified four major performance measures: (1) academic and technical skill achievement; (2) attainment of secondary school diploma; (3) placement in, retention in, and completion of postsecondary education, military service, or employment; and (4) participation in nontraditional CTE programs that lead to nontraditional training and employment.
Perkins ApplicationEach school district eligible to receive funding from the 2006 Carl D.
